All shipments are sent ground delivery, without requesting a mandatory signature. In stock products are normally shipped out within 24 to 48 hours of our receiving your order. Should any of your purchase be backordered, these items take priority and are shipped out to you as soon as it is received at no additional shipping cost to you. We reserve the right to cancel backorders on items of low cost due to the relatively high cost of shipping. A shipping surcharge (in addition to the regular shipping charge) may apply for the shipment of extra long or extra heavy items. Also, any region not served by ground delivery may incur additional shipping charges. Whenever extra shipping charges apply, we will contact you and obtain your approval prior to shipping.
It is important for you to note that shipping charges are based on the total product cost (before taxes) for that particular order, excluding any gift card purchase that may be included in that order. For example, if you purchased $200.00 worth of products, and a $100.00 gift card (for a total before tax cost of $300.00), the shipping charged will be based on the $200.00 purchase level, and not the $300.00 purchase level.
Please also note we do not deliver to a P.O. Box. For any package that our shipper could not deliver, the related cost incurred will be charged to your credit card. Many of our shipments (but not all) require that someone sign for it. Kindly ensure you make the necessary arrangements. On occasion, you may wish to cancel your order. Here are our current cancellation fees:
(i) Should we receive your request to cancel your order before we notify you that it has been processed, a flat fee of $10.00 (plus taxes) will apply. This helps offset the cost already charged to us by our secure payment processor for processing your initial payment.
Should you request cancellation after the order has been fully processed, we may or may not be able to stop the shipment. In this case, the cancellation fees are as follows:
(ii) If we are able to stop shipment, then a cancellation fee of $100.00 (plus taxes) will apply. This is necessary to help offset costs already incurred to process the order, as well as costs that will be incurred for cancellation and restocking.
(iii) If we are not able to stop shipment, then the order cannot be cancelled. As such, the order will be shipped as is and no refund(s) will be issued.
Please note that cancellation fees are deducted before any refund(s) are processed.
We take great care and pride in selecting the products we offer you. We hope you are delighted with your purchase! If however, you are not satisfied, for whatever reason, simply return your purchase within 30 days from the date purchased. You can choose to either exchange the product returned, or receive a full refund provided the unused product is returned in its original packaging and is in an “as sold” condition. The original sales receipt must also accompany the return. Returned products accompanied by a gift receipt are eligible for credit only. It is your responsibility (shipping cost borne by you) to return the product to us in good condition. The only condition under which we will reimburse your shipping cost is if, in the unlikely event, you received a defective product. In this case we will reimbuse you your return parcel post at the ground mail rate. To expedite processing, please contact us for a return authorization number prior to making any return. We will provide a return address (in Ottawa, ON Canada) at the same time as we provide you with a return authorization number.
At times, some of the items we offer you will be at a reduced or sale price. These items will clearly be marked as sale items, with the regular price shown as information. Our policy in respect of these items is that they are FINAL sales, and as such may not be returned, exchanged, or cancelled if already shipped.
